University of Southern Indiana’s Eagle Innovation Accelerator will be providing an event on “Exploring the Business Model Canvas”. Often used by startups, the Business Model Canvas is a strategic management and lean template for developing a new or existing business model. The Business Model Canvas is a chart with elements that describe the product or potential product, and often represents a short form visual representation of items found on a traditional business plan. Utilizing the Business Model Canvas is useful for rapidly changing organizations or products as it can be quickly edited as a new hypothesis is defined and tested. The canvas is also a useful tool as it’s visual depiction of your business provides an easy reference point for developing collateral for marketing or investment purposes.
